Tell me more about mirroring the structure we exist to establish? That's so true and powerful. Is it something to do with "embodying" is this what people really mean when they say "fake it til you make it"? Or "live in the end" ala Neville Goddard?

We as Metalabel operate as a group of people putting out distinct "releases" that reflect what brings us together. The financial tools we built for ourselves to handle recouping costs and splitting proceeds inspired the same tools that now all creators can use on Metalabel. I personally am also a member of several label-like groups of people co-releasing together, and so get to see both a lot of the advantages and challenges, as well as seeing what some of the evolving needs are as they start to grow. To be in a flow state of simultaneously making for oneself while making tools for oneselves is really special. Still so much work to do!

Always great to catch up with you this way Yancey. It's thrilling to hear you share about some of the similar islands of cohesion and storms at sea I'm also encountering in my own creative yet focused life journey. I'm looking forward to hearing your TED talk once it is published.

Also - love the scroll idea: an analog, creative Personal Knowledge Management artifact.

Wow, needed to read this today of all day. opportunities present themselves when we indeed quieten the ego and truly become confident and focused and not seeking validation or recognition. That resonated with me. Having just moved out of London to North Norfolk in the countryside near the coast, I awoke thinking Ive mad a mistake there is not one to impress here but my business needs to establish itself and be authentic. I never forget your talk deicing April 2002 about pivoting in and you predicted that this would shape how we consume and while everyone was thinking everything would return back to normal you advise help keep my business afloat. Thanks for all the wisdom you share. Wishing you the bets on your TED talk and it will be amazing that I am sure of.

Those pangs of doubt can really hit hard

There is only the life we build for ourselves and the people around us. That's what we can truly control and cultivate. We can look everywhere in the world to discover or we can look deeply at one specific place and learn just as much in a different way

You are so honest and clear minded about your own creative process, your ups and downs … so why am I always surprised when you share about your own self doubt? I know it is because, in my mind, you just instinctively do the right thing. I don’t see (or think about) how the sausage is made. Anyway, thank you for sharing all of the bits. I’m very excited for your Ted talk. I hope it is something as transformational as the bento box decision process.

This is a great set of updates and it has a peaceful tone to it as well. It is great to hear that your happenings are simpler and with depth, and this motivates others toward the same form as well. I may get one of the those butcher papers and have always liked simple things like a large piece of paper in that way, such that so much can be put on it, and the roll idea is neat as it continues. It is nice of you to share a picture of it too to see how it can appear. On the podcast, great work thus far.

It is cool what you shared about self-printing a book, as I am looking to do that in some regard later this year, and you have a page on that. As well, it is superb to hear that you will be giving a TED Talk, and how lucky the audience is to have you for that. Cheers Yancey - Armen

Something that was shared with me recently: “I personally know that I’m on the right track in my life by tracking on the density of synchronicities at that time.” Would love to find out the ways that “deeper synchronicity” has manifested for you.

That's really true

For me it's when all the activities of life are flowing together. Where what you're learning here shows you what to do there. There's also a big astrological component to how I view things that I need to write about this year.
